Gale databases are prevalent in schools around the country. Gale makes a number of different databases that are curated for different K-12 audiences. To keep it simple as a starting point, there is one database in particular that is especially bad and it’s called Gale in Context: High School. The example I used in my blog post was “Naughty America invites you experience a virtual threesome during Comic-Con” (see enclosed screenshot – the words “SFW Announcement” are a functional hyperlink to the Naughty America website). I am also enclosing a screenshot from Naughty America (naughtyamerica.com) but I cropped it to remove nudity.
