Gender Dysmorphic Books

The "Freedom to Read" Campaign doesn't seem to include books that help children who suffer from gender dysphoria understand that there are books out there that affirm their body.  In many school districts, like Davis School District in Utah, the Pro-Transition books outnumber the Pro-Body books 60 to 1. You can find the gender dysmorphic books in this list or by clicking on "Dysmorphic/Transgender" on this website under Browse Books and the "Content" filter. We are asking parents, teacher and librarians to fill the shelves with books that contain characters and ideas that affirm the body.

Below is a video of two therapists speaking about the healthiest approach to treating gender dysmorphia, and it does not include affirmation of the dysmorphia.  This perspective is critical for children and parents to hear, yet it is excluded by libraries.  Do they really believe in the freedom to read?
